8-year growth rate of consumption in rural areas for the first time the City

- National Bureau of Statistics released the latest data show that in April, retail sales of consumer goods in Chinese cities 632.96 billion yuan, up 13.9 percent; and below the county level retail sales of 301.36 billion yuan, an increase of 16.7%.
Prior to this, the National Bureau of Statistics released data showing the first quarter, retail sales of consumer goods in Chinese cities 1983.4 billion yuan, up 14.1 percent; and below the county level retail sales of 956.4 billion yuan, an increase of 17.0%. Thus, consumption growth in rural areas, has on more than four cities.
From a number of major agricultural province of the situation, this year to accelerate rural consumption significantly, showing a vibrant scene.
Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics data shows that January to April this year, Sichuan province's urban retail sales of consumer goods market total 90.496 billion yuan, an 15.3 percent increase over the same period the previous year; below the county level and county-level retail sales of social consumer goods market 82,699,000,000 yuan, up 21.2 percent year-on-year growth, respectively, over the same period in the province and high rate of increase for urban markets 3.2 and 5.9 percentage points.
A major agricultural province of Henan is gratifying data. According to the Statistical Bureau of Henan Province, the first quarter of retail sales of consumer goods in Henan Province to achieve the total 158.62 billion yuan, an 18.9 percent increase over the same period last year, on the whole, the province's actual consumption remained stable and rapid growth. Of these, 19.2 percent growth in retail sales in rural areas, rural consumption growth rate faster than the 0.6 percent city.
Experts believe that the financial crisis in the international context, a strong driving force for rural consumption, did not come easily.
